Shipping policy

Oliver and Alder operates as an online-only fashion brand and currently ships orders exclusively within the United Kingdom. Orders are dispatched from our fulfilment partner warehouse in Shenzhen, China, using trusted international delivery services. We ship on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis to the United Kingdom. This means there are no additional import duties or taxes to pay upon delivery for UK customers.

PROCESSING TIMES

All orders are usually processed within 1–2 business days after payment is received. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in the United Kingdom and China.

ORDER CUTOFF TIME

Orders placed before 14:00 (Monday to Friday) will typically be processed on the same business day. Orders placed after 14:00 will be processed on the next business day.

DELIVERY TIMES

Once dispatched, typical delivery time to the United Kingdom is 3–10 business days. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by factors outside our control, such as carrier delays, customs processing, or local disruptions. Estimated delivery times are calculated in business days (Monday to Friday).

SHIPPING COSTS

Standard shipping to the United Kingdom is free for all orders. No additional paid shipping options are currently offered.

SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS

We do not ship to PO Box addresses, military addresses (APO/FPO/DPO), or restricted areas. Certain items may be subject to shipping restrictions depending on UK-specific regulations or carrier restrictions.

CUSTOMS, VAT AND IMPORT FEES

Orders are shipped from outside the United Kingdom. As we ship on a DDP basis, import duties and VAT for UK deliveries are covered by us at the point of dispatch. You will not be asked to pay additional customs or tax charges when your order is delivered.

TRACKING YOUR ORDER

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with tracking information. You can use this to monitor the progress of your delivery. If you experience any issues with tracking, please contact our customer service team.

DELIVERY ADDRESS

Please ensure that your delivery address is complete and correct at checkout. We cannot be held responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete address information. If you need to update your delivery address after placing your order, please contact us immediately before dispatch.

FAILED DELIVERY ATTEMPTS

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, the carrier will usually leave a notice and make further attempts or hold the parcel at a local depot for collection. Please follow the instructions provided by the carrier. If you do not collect your order within the specified timeframe, it may be returned to us, and you may be responsible for return shipping costs and any return-to-sender or handling fees charged by the carrier from any refund that may be issued, where applicable. Re-shipping may be offered on request, subject to payment of the new shipping costs.

LOST OR DAMAGED PARCELS

If your order appears to be lost or significantly delayed, please contact our customer service team so we can investigate with the carrier. If an order arrives visibly damaged, we recommend that you document the damage (including photos of the parcel and items) and contact us as soon as possible so that we can review the case.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

Once an order has been placed, it is processed quickly by our fulfilment partner. This means changes or cancellations may not always be possible. If you need to update or cancel your order, please contact us immediately and we will do our best to assist if the order has not yet been dispatched.
